A pretty antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant decorated with Pearls a 0.20ct Amethyst and a teardrop Peridot dropper.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The stones are set in a 15ct Yellow Gold floral designed gallery which is stamped 15ct on the back. It would look beautiful on a Gold chain and is a fine example of Suffragette jewellery.
